    Morning all.

mumofthetwins - welcome and good luck with your savings.
We are just into the 2nd half of this years challenge, so still time to get a decent pot in time for Xmas.

mummytummy - nice potting and enjoy the UK. Don't forget your brolly. lol

Potted £6.70 which included a 20p road-kill (first in ages!!).

Hello everyone, still plodding away on the first tin (well not quite true - I have 3 on the go - one for the £'s, one for £2's and one for the rest) so perhaps that's why none of them are full.
Anyway, £5.30 to the pot today, so must be getting there.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

Haven't put much in my pot recently - must try and remember! However, yesterday the car park machine gave me a whopping £18.20 back in change so I've put the lot in my sealed pot. Whoohoo :)

10p potted today...I thought I'd found 5p roadkill earlier on. It turned out to be a rather grubby piece of chewing gum...:(!! One week till my hols :T Hopefully this time next week I will be sunning (ever the optimist!) myself on the south coast beach with Master ato (my son), Nana ato (my mum) & Auntie ato (my aunt & mum's sister) :p

    Afternoon everyone :hello:

20p potted today. I've also banked £20 worth of £1 coins which I had lying around. Better in my savings account than lying around! I've duly added it to my signature. :A

My £2 coins are saved through the £2 savers as they have traditionally gone towards my road tax every October, otherwise my sealed pot would be burgeoning! :)

    Happy saving!

  • Wow, everyone is doing amazingly well with potting and brilliant potting dear Sue-uu :)Glad you're feeling a little better.

DH gave me 2p to pot today but, bless him, has offered me £20 a month towards my petrol as I take him to work and back every weekend :A I gratefully accepted, of course :D So I am now back on an even keel, thank goodness.

Hope all potters are warm & dry after a pretty miserable day x

    Hello potters!
Just thought I would pop on while I have a few spare minutes and apologise for not posting for a while :o
Well, the husband is now officially unemployed  and things have been horrendous. He is unable to work at all and spent the last 6 weeks of his job on sickness. Not the best news, it is looking very likely that he is going to have a knee replacement, at the tender age of 40!
So, I have had to return to full time employment and am not going to lie, I am finding it very hard and tiring.
I hardly see the kids and am pretty miserable at the mo :(
I am still potting but money is pretty tight.
I hope you all are having better luck than us :D

    Take care

    Emily xx
