I had to borrow a £1 from dinner money as put all my change into my first pot and didn't like the new one sitting empty without a rattle silly eh. Hugs to all xx.

Been out today to look at trellis aswe have decided the new fence is too short and come back with a retracting hose that DH has wanted for 'agessssssssssssss' (seriously, its like having a third child! :rotfl:) so my free trip out has cost me £40  . . . plus the £10 we spent on new toys and fruit sticks for the bird (ok that was me :o)

On the plus side, both DH and George are being very quiet playing with their respective new toys :D :rotfl:

No pennies for the pot as I had to use the card today having no money in my purse :(

    Afternoon

Today is the first day I have potted any money since 30 April as I have been using my bank card.

    £4.50 potted today though :D

This time next week I will have completed my charity run. On Thursday night I ran 5k for the first time so I am a week ahead on the training. I went running again this morning and I did the 5k in 1 minute 6 seconds less than I did it on Thursday :D

I hope everyone is well xx

    Good luck with it :)
Potted some shrapnel today after a little trip out with my BFF to look at the bluebells :)

    Hi
Its a 5k for a local school, so not a big race.
I didn't think I could run, in fact, I couldn't even run for 1 minute, 4 weeks ago, but I followed the couch to 5k app and now I can run for 50 minutes non-stop and could probably go further if I really had to!!
Have a go, its does work. I run really slowly, but its still running. I think you are supposed to build up distance and then work on speed :D

It all counts doesn't it, anyone who runs gets my vote :)
I did try the C25K but only lasted a week - I get so breathless I give up :( even with the intervals it was too hard so I stick to walking. Hope you enjoy next week :)
