Dominos Refund!

Sorry if this is not the right area to be putting this.
2 weeks I was round at a friends and the 4 of us ordered a pizza, I put it on my card as everyone else had cash.
The first payment failed, so we removed the charity donation (as this sometimes causes a problem) and the payment went through.
A couple of days later I noticed the payment had in fact been taken and i had been charged twice. I called the store straight away and I was told the manager deals with this and he wasnt in till Friday, ( this was now Tuesday) and I was to bring my bank statements to the store on Friday.
I did this and was told when I got there as it was a web order they would have to send my bank statement to the head office.
Not overly convinced they would do this, I emailed the head office myself with the issue, along with posting on their facebook page.
No response from anyone yet!
Has any one got any tips to get my money back?
Thanks

The individual stores are not incharge of online order payments, Dominos head office is. So you would have to take it up with them, nothing to do with the store itself.
In store/phone orders the store can do yes, but not online.0 -
Thanks guys, someone has finally got in touch and is looking into it!0

Best bet is ask solicitors who deal with financial matters:money:0

This is a common problem that I and other people I know have experienced, so you'd imagine their processes for dealing with such matters would be more than polished, given its regularity!0

I just took a copy of my statement into the store I ordered from ,showed them the two payments and they gave me a cash refund.0

I had this issue too. Tried ordering a pizza using credit card using their iphone app. It failed to process, but no email, a bit dubious I did it again but choose to pay cash on delivery.
Like you, it appeared on my statement so I sent an email of complaint. They basically requested a copy of the statement and they provided a full refund. I can't recall whether or not I got a voucher (this time around).
I say 'this time round' because I had an incident where I was bombarded with texts and emails all week for a £5.99 any size pizza collection only and you could also book online. When I went online the deal was nowhere to be seen, so I called the local store and they said it would be a least 2 hours. I asked for confirmation 'for collection? not delivery'. It was true, apparantely they couldn't cope with the demand. I emailed their customer services and a few days later I got a call asking what I wanted. I ask for a voucher of some sort and they offered a £25 voucher. When the voucher arrived it specified 'not to be used in conjunction with any other deals', you know you can always get a deal with Dominos so not as good as thought. However, on the night I wanted to use it I rang up to make the order, I told the girl that I had a £25 voucher and cheekily asked if there were any deals on. She said there was a 'spend £25 and get 50% off' deal, and her words 'you could effectively get £50 worth of food for free'. I hear you saying 'that's pure greed', but anyway I just stocked up on Ben and Jerry's ice cream.
Happy days. It pays to complain.0 -

I order online from Domino's and always use paypal now - luckily the one time I had a problem with them I had paid on paypal. They didn't deliver the bottle of coke with the meal - driver said he'd be back with it, but 30 minutes late and nothing - I called the store several times and they kept saying it would be brought out and it wasn't.
Did a paypal claim the next day, it wasn't dissputed and I had my refund once the time had past0 -
