I asked at work if anyone is about to upgrade and got an iphone 4s for £100 then got it unlocked (loads of hassle and took a month) I now use giff gaff and am very happy.

My Local CeX sells them (computer exchange), not sure if they offer a warranty though..

CEX usually offer a years warranty , and you have some degree of comeback with them if the phone later gets blacklisted.

Not the cheapest, but theres some backup which is more than many people on Ebay..
