Ukcps parking charge notice

I really didn't do anything wrong, but have no evidence to support this. I'm stressed about it with the threat of court action, I really don't want to go through all of that. I have very little free time with work and family. If i pay the fine and lodge a complaint to the retailers, would there be any chance of claiming the money back from UKCPS ?0

I would say , no chance
its not a fine, its a parking charge invoice that you could have easily fought and won had you started earlier
by ignoring the letters you have decided that it will have to go to court by default , ie:- you accepted the outcome by ignoring the paperwork , causing you more work - not less work - or you have accepted to pay a larger charge when eventually threatened with court papers
it may not even go to court - you may win at court - who knows ?
the charge is not a genuine pre-estimate of loss , in other words your trespass "crime" does not warrant such an exorbitant charge, you should have paid maybe a few pounds at most - and didnt , so the costs owed are the money you avoided paying and aany legal time and expenses they used to try to get it sorted out
best bet is to try to get the landowner to waive the charge now0 -

It's not a fine. Don't just pay it!
Complain to the Retailers immediately about this harassment, if you were a customer they can cancel this for you by phone! Were you a little bit out of bay, or had a Blue badge but it slipped or you forgot to display it? If so then you should NOT pay and should respond robustly to this letter and complain straight away to the Store Manager or Centre Management if it's a retail park (Google the name of the retail park to find contact details).
And we have a thread about how to respond to this sort of letter. Have a look at the LBCCC fightback! thread by zzzLazy Daisy, close to the top of this forum, for a template response.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
