Twitter for a business, help please

Sorry Twitter Virgin here and all I basically know about twitter is that you can follow and be followed then speak with hashtags before everything!? I know im so behind times
But im in the process of taking over a bar and need to set up a business/company twitter account for it. Does this cost?
Is it like owning a domain where if you choose the name and its not taken you can be the owner one who has that name ?

Not its not like a domain that you buy and own for as long as you pay. Twitter could in theory get taken over and scrapped. Unlikely but not impossible.
And the name will belong to them.

Look what happened to AOL. That was HUGE back in its day.

If you want a domain and a website then purchase the domain.

I use easily.co.uk you can pop the bar name in there and see if its availble to purchase.
Then you need a website making and somewhere to host it.

I use 50webs to host my sites.

All the business posting that i follow on Twitter are the same as ordinary users @paulthepub @rgsmith @hadbrokes etc .
