Spent over an hour on the phone to StepChange, firstdirect and 2 DCA's earlier, bit of mixed signals somewhere as to who was 'looking after' the debt coz it had transferred between so many places!
Finally got an outstanding balance and informed StepChange who had the estimated balance at £5000... It's actually £769! Still have other debts to pay off, and I knew it wasn't £5000, I just feel pleased that hopefully now StepChange will change it on my statement and I'll get a realistic DFD!

Anyway, that's not included on my 1 debt vs 65 days, I'll be chipping away at that in the next few weeks!

Hello, it's been ages since i've last been here, but i've been plugging away at the debt.

I'm rejoining the challenge, but there's no need to provide me with a membership no. as i don't visit the site that often .

I'm looking to clear a credit card debt of £215.62.

Once it cleared i'll just cancel the bloomin thing once and for all!

Well I normally join the challenge, but I was just so busy over December and early January that I've bareky been online at all.

So I'll join you now if I may, but it's more like 1 debt vs just under 60 days.

I think £500 is a realistic target for me
