Home insurance for Trace & Access, gas leak

I hope I am doing this correctly as it is my first time.
I am looking for home insurance that covers for Trace & Access, that will cover finding & payment for a Gas leak as 18 months ago when we returned from holiday & opened our front door we discovered we had a gas leak but our insurance company wouldn't pay out although we had cover for T & A.
We were told it didn't cover us for a Gas leak!!
We had the leak traced, ceilings were pulled down, walls had holes made in them, floor boards were taken up & 3 days later it was found but we had to pay for all of this plus to have it all re-plastered & re-decorated!
Please does anyone know of a company that covers this as I can only find T&A for water.
