You are doing really well HOK3Y
Yesterday evening I found 50p in uncollected change in one of the drinks machines in the Uni library, and another 15p in 5p coins in and around the Uni train station.

I have discovered that there is another roadkill hunter operating on "my patch" :rotfl:

I guess that I just have to up my game (or visit the Uni library more than twice a week).

Thanks Emma! Oh no fair to have another roadkiller on your turf.....you might have to run him/her off......or just beat them to the cash every time!

Well, I found another 2 x 5p so 42p for the day so far. I am finding lots of coins in different places at the moment - hopefully a sign of the season and will therefore continue for the next couple of weeks.....I hope!!! Keep those eyes peeled rebels! X

    FOUND A £5 NOTE !!!!!!!!!!!!
My 2 eldest kids had Scouts tonight. They were going to the local mall to go ice skating.I drove the kids there, used the opportunity to do Christmas shopping.
One of the first shops I went to was a Claire's,where I had found a 5p piece under a stand afew weeks ago.I was milling around, doing abit of shopping, keeping one eye under the display units...looked down, and THERE IT WAS!!It was at the feet of a couple of people in the queue!!!I saw it,stepped INTO THE QUEUE(!),dropped my handbag on it,pretended to look for something in my bag, then pushed my bag a little way as if I had just realised I had stopped in the middle of the queue, and was now getting out of the way :rotfl:.

Did I mention I had also found a 5p piece earlier in the day,and another 20p piece at the mall. No?Never mind,'cause

    I found £1.15 at lunchtime - £1 in a trolley and 3 x 5ps scattered through Morri$ons. Pretty darn happy with that!

2p from me today...developing a stoop but loving this thread :D
  • No more finds here but I've been having issues with my leg so even if I'm out of the house (pretty rare at the moment) I'm in a fog of painkillers and probably wouldn't notice £50 notes raining from the sky!

However, I have now started DREAMING about roadkill and despite the fact I can barely walk I demanded that I was the one to return the trolley yesterday and told my mum it was because I needed to look for roadkill! :rotfl:
