The date is just normally a guideline - however you should still receive an evidence pack from the PPC (although some don't send them). There is also the possibility that this may be another case where the PPC simply defaults and not send any evidence, in which case you will win by default.:D
You could check with POPLA if they have received evidence and the status of your appeal as you have not received any info.0 -
OK 4consumerrights, I'll check with POPLA. Thanks.0

Was originally given an estimated date of 6th Feb for the appeal. That came and went so I chased POPLA after my last post here. They replied that they had not received any evidence from Euro Car Parks and would advise when my appeal was dealt with.
That must have been about 4 weeks ago. Today I actually received their decision that my appeal was upheld. I reproduce the text below:
10 March 2014
Reference XXXXXXXXXX
always quote in any communication with POPLA
Dear Sir or Madam
retep53 (Appellant)
-v-
Euro Car Parks Limited (Operator)
The Operator has informed us that they have cancelled parking charge notice number XXXXXXXXXXXXX, issued in respect of a vehicle with the registration mark XXXXXXX .
Your appeal has therefore been allowed by order of the Lead
Adjudicator.
You are not liable for the parking charge and, where appropriate, any amounts already paid in respect of this parking charge notice will be refunded by the Operator.
Yours sincerely,
Richard Reeve

Thanks, CM. From reading the POPLA decisions thread it seems that most PPCs now aren't pursuing through POPLA when they know the appeal mentions GPEOL.
Thanks again to Umkomaas, Guys Dad, 4consumerrights, Redx, prosnap and yourself especially Coupon-mad.
