Despite vowing never to darken the doorstep of Asda ever again, I relented yesterday and popped in for a joint of topside at this price! Bargain!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Today is 'cooking day'. I bought 2 pieces of beef at about £10.50 a piece (I cut them into thirds and they are in the freezer) but I also bought one at £6.50 and today I'm going to cook a stew with half and in the oven at the same time I'll put the 'beef in French Onion cup-a-soup'.
We'll have the beef for tonight and then freeze the leftovers and tomorrow and Monday we'll have the stew and then I'll put the rest in the freezer too. The freezer is getting a bit full though... not a bad thing while we're skint!DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024

I'm cooking some beef today (Sainsbury's) and I brown first, pop it into a pressure cooker for 10 mins and finish off in the oven.
Keep the stock for the gravy, with any juices from the roasting.
Loin of pork for £4 - I might get some to add to the Xmas turkey crown.

Did anybody manage to buy any or is this just a headline offer on TV to get you in the store?0

Surprisingly, I did manage to get one when the offer first started a couple of weeks ago. However, I went back in yesterday to get another and, guess what, none in sight! The dedicated area in the fridge was full of gammon joints!!! If they have sold out they should stop advertising! But that's Asda for you!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. I have been down and got 3 joints over the last 3 or 4 weeks and had some on click and collect last sat, cheaper than stewing meat, so all chopped up and in freezer:money:
If you order it on click and collect you should get it, this is what i did last week as SA said as soon as it comes in they are selling as such a good price hthSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0
