I note that the SmartPrice beef roasting joints are £5.75/kg.

Therefore, is £4.00/kg correct? Have ASDA done their usual "yo-yo pricing"/website error tricks at the same time, and this is really £14.00? And, if it is on offer, I won't be surprised to not be able to find it on the shelves.
If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5? :)

Its silverside and yes its suitable for all of those. I live on my own so like to buy a big joint and cut off enough for a roasting joint, slices for steak, chunks for stew, casserole or curry. Saves a fortune, these diced beef was £8.00. and I don't even bother to look at the price of steak as I know I couldn't afford it.

The joints vary in size I bought

    1 x 2.616 kg £10.46 says serves 12-13

    1 x 2.098 kg £8.39 says serves 9-10

    1 x 1.518 kg £6.07 says serves 7-8.

    Hope that helps.
