I note that the SmartPrice beef roasting joints are £5.75/kg.
Therefore, is £4.00/kg correct? Have ASDA done their usual "yo-yo pricing"/website error tricks at the same time, and this is really £14.00? And, if it is on offer, I won't be surprised to not be able to find it on the shelves. If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?

Thanks.
Its silverside and yes its suitable for all of those. I live on my own so like to buy a big joint and cut off enough for a roasting joint, slices for steak, chunks for stew, casserole or curry. Saves a fortune, these diced beef was £8.00. and I don't even bother to look at the price of steak as I know I couldn't afford it.Slimming World at target0 -
Thanks so much for the tip meg. I'm going past Asda later so I'll look for some.
I've bought them before and cut it up into small joints and casserole pieces.0 -

The joints vary in size I bought
1 x 2.616 kg £10.46 says serves 12-13
1 x 2.098 kg £8.39 says serves 9-10
1 x 1.518 kg £6.07 says serves 7-8.
Hope that helps.Slimming World at target0 -

THANKS Meg72, I am definitely getting them tomorrow, meat costs a fortune nowadays and your reply will help with our meat budgeting from now on. :beer:0 -
