I have a Bravoska oven, similar to the Remoska but it has a thermostat.
I've Googled and Ebay'd but can't find any mention of them.
Does anyone know if they are still being made?
They are still available in the Czech Republic. Sadly as a new user I am apparently not able to post with links but I simply put Bravoska into google and looked at images, of which there are many. Then chose one and clicked on go to the page....

I love my Remoskas, daughter and I have four between us. Two are in the UK and a standard and grande in the CR. I wouldn't be without them. Nothing has ever gone wrong with any of them over the twelve years we have had them. In fact, I've never quite understood how people can have problems with them. You shove the food in, put the lid on, turn it on and that's an end of it. Best roast chicken ever.

The hot lid is a problem and it would be good if they have solved that with the new model. But I am very unhappy about the handles on the pan because I too use the pan in the oven on occasion.

The Remoska is back at Lakeland but the price is quite high

There was a similar one on Amazon, with good reviews but I can't find it anymore, pity.

Have look for a Tefal Roast N'Bake. - Google it-

Similar to a Remosca but a better build quality and cheaper.

We bought one in a Tefal outlet shop for half the price of a Remosca.

    Have a look at this.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

no, the one I meant was this one, found it but it's no longer available. I liked that fact that it had a thermostat

however the one mentioned above looks fairly similar :)

I really think the original Remoska is a rip off at 150 quid...

lol, lakeland are having a laugh. A lot of us enjoyed using the old version, in spite of eating the non stick that came off and in spite of having a horribly dangerous hot lid perched on a kitchen worktop. I paid much less than that for my wonderful le creuset casserole
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Le-Creuset-Shallow-Casserole-Almond/dp/B003NVLFX4/ref=sr_1_2?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1390668043&sr=1-2&keywords=le+creuset+22cm+shallow

and the remaining £100 gives me a lot of energy hours in my inexpensive top oven, to roast, bake, casserole in whatever dish I already have

I will use my old one until it dies or I may chuck it if I want the storage space. I love my le creuset so much that I keep it permanently on my hob. I cannot do that with remoska and pretty it aint
  • If my current Ramoska dies, will Lakeland replace it with the new version?

Cestina, I've only just read your reply, many thanks for the info, I don't know why I couldn't find it on Google.
It's good to know the Bravoska's still out there as it's fantastic, shame it doesn't appear to be available here anymore (bought mine from an Ebayer in Chester)
My Sis and BIL go to the Czech Rep on coach hols from time to time, maybe I'll........Mmmmmm;)
