TV licence refund

Hello,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Me and my partner have been living together for about a year now, and she has lived at her previous address for 8 years... a few years ago she spent a year living in London, and i've just found out today that she has had the direct debit running ever since!

The TV licence website appears to be down... does anyone know if there is any chance of getting a refund for this (or some of it).

Thanks

Perhaps - the devil is in the detail, all you can do is ask them (nicely) hopefully she'll have proof of holding a licence elsewhere which will make it easier.
