Can't get HD channels

Can't seem to get HD channels, despite being in "good service" area for all channels. I've tried re-tuning but no luck.
Anybody else come across this?

Assuming you are talking about Freeview then yes my aunt had the same problem using her old Loft aerial. It seemed strong enough for most of the SD channels but wouldn't pick up the HD channels.
She had to get a new aerial.0 -

I don't think the problem was the fact that it was in the loft - it was more that it just did not have a suitable bandwidth.
I have no idea what the original aerial was or what it was changed to although it was put up outside. It was an aerial company that installed it.0 -

Yes, postcode checker shows Good reception on 80 freeview channels and 6 HD. It's not a repeater.0
