EXPIRED GLITCH men's trainers

There is a strong suspicion out there that this was a very cunning marketing stunt by Reebok to promote their customisation products. If so, complete respect to whoever came up with it!! A truly 'free' viral campaign which has got global social media and even press coverage. My Facebook and twitter feeds are covered in screen-shots of colourful Reebok trainers.
In any case, I suspect Reebok will offer a meagre discount like 25% off the full value as a gesture of goodwill (and cash-in on the publicity), or they will apologise and just cancel the orders en mass.0 -
I managed to customise a pair and paid with paypal, I then got a bit greedy late last night and made 2 more pairs paid via paypal again, had confirmation emails for both orders. Checked my account on Reeboks website tonight and one of my orders has vanished the other is still there with status pending, fingers crossed but I won't hold my breath0

I ordered 2 pairs, and paid 8.50, they money is still pending in paypal, but yet says i have made no orders on the reebok site! So dont know whats going on... would of thought they would tell everyone! - guess there trying to get legal advise.0
-
Same here, placed order but nothing in 'my account' still. I think not just legal advice but also some major marketing decisions being made in order to try to turn it to their advantage.0

My paypal payment still pending and no contact at all from company, not even a cancellation email yet.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I have heard nothing either.0

I've just looked at the Daily Mail news article and it says....
'We have apologised to the consumers affected and offered them a one-off discount of 20 per cent, which they can redeem at Reebok.co.uk to mitigate any inconvenience that this error may have caused.'
I have not received an apology, or any communication whatsoever!"Women are made to be loved, not understood - Oscar Wilde .
A big thank you to all the fab people that take the time to post bargains :beer:0 -

Me neither. Maybe it's just badly worded and they've either not done it yet, or are in the process of doing it.0 -
Nothing here either,
day 3 and not a word and my payment was still pending late last night when I last checked paypal.
If this was a marketing ploy, it wasn't a very good one- I'm not sure I would order from a company with no communication skills at all.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
