Ignore and it will go away?

Just got my first letter from G24 trying to fine me. Can I just ignore the letters and get on with my life?

OR could G24 take it further?

    Yes.
    Dates would help.

  • Basically they're trying to fine me for staying at a retail car park an hour over the '3 hour parking limit'. No clear signs are stated anywhere telling customers this. How should I go about this? just ignore?

Is it your own car, not lease/rental?
Ticket on car or in post?
    Dates please for postal.

Have you read the 'newbies, read this now!' sticky thread?

  • Got the letter through the post today for the parking two weeks ago. I own the car. I have two weeks to pay £75 or it goes up.

Yep but that's irrelevant and you need to read the 'newbies, read this now!' sticky thread really. It won't go up, don't be daft, you won't PAYING them!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Let's try this one more time!

    Date of parking event?

'2 weeks ago' isn't precise enough.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    12th November?
  • Are you guessing or is this what the letter says?

The question mark was there as a question to why does it have to be the exact date, how will that help?
