Just got my first letter from G24 trying to fine me. Can I just ignore the letters and get on with my life?

Basically they're trying to fine me for staying at a retail car park an hour over the '3 hour parking limit'. No clear signs are stated anywhere telling customers this. How should I go about this? just ignore?0
