Tesco Mobiles - unlocked?

I want to buy a basic unlocked phone.
I am looking at the two priced at £7 here

Now i think I remember Tesco used to sell some phones unlocked years ago but I have no idea if they still do.
Has anyone bought a cheap mobile off them recently who can give me an idea?

They list the ones they definitely sell sim free (unlocked),and they normally work out dearer.

I am pretty sure they are locked.
All CPW's phones are normally unlocked, even PAYG

That does make sense. I was just hoping that maybe Tesco could be a bit lazy and not bothered locking phones sold as using their own network.

Some are unlocked, I recently bought an Asha 201 from them unlocked as a gift.

The question was about PAYG ones and you failed to confirm that your Asha was PAYG.

Yes I am after a simple phone. The Asha is a bit too expensive sadly. a few years ago cpw used to have phone going for 99p(+£10 top up) + cashback but those days are long gone unfortunately.:(
