T-Mobile line rental credit/overdue payment
Options
I closed my T-Mobile account a couple of months ago and they wrongly billed me an early termination charge, which after calling them they agreed to waive.
I had to wait 30 days for this credit to appear on my account, which was the date the revised final bill was issued. Upon receiving this, under 'last bill', it has the ETC charged, but it stated this amount was 'overdue'. They have however put the credit for the same amount onto this bill, making it 1p in credit.
My question is, the fact that this was displayed as an 'overdue amount', will this have an impact on my credit report? I don't want my credit rating ruined due to a !!!!-up by T-Mobile, especially as at the time of calling they confirmed I didn't owe anything.
Thanks

It could do. You'd need to check your external credit files individually at least a month after the even to see if a "1" (late payment) appears. With EE even when they tell you IN WRITING three times that there won't be an entry, there still might be (as I have found out recently and am now expecting to have to go the distance to CISAS after 8 weeks to finally get corrected).0

Thanks mobilejunkie for your reply - I'll be sure to check it next month when my credit file's updated.
Didn't really think the word of a customer advisor on the phone would be enough. Hope you get yours corrected soon, perhaps I'll be joining you on the same road to CISAS soon"Kids respect landlords. I think it's the keys."0 -
Thanks. It will be - though I suspect not without going through CISAS (again). Mine is on Orange though - but some of last year's letters with broken promises were from EE. I no longer bother making endless attempts to communicate with them. I give them a chance, then make a formal complaint, then wait 8 weeks and it's off to CISAS (who I have been reasonably impressed with).0
