We got a ticket today 22/11/13 at Robin Park Retail for forgetting to display our blue badge. The tax disc states my husband is disabled as it a mobility car !! When I phoned for an email address to appeal a man answered just saying 'hello' and ten when I asked for the address he whispered to someone......there someone on the phone wanting an appeal e mail address ......to which a very young girl came on and gave the address!!!!! Thought it was very strange and un professional and now after reading about the liquidation on a previous I know why !!!!! Does any one know any more about whether the company is now 'non-functioning '. My disabled husband is really worrying and it is not helping his health at all. Any help or advice appreciated.....sorry to jump in this thread I new to all this forum stuff !!! Thanks in advance for your help x
I have appealed via email but not given address details.

all that you received was a parking ticket, its most definitely NOT a fine
its a parking charge issued by a PPC, a ppc who may or may not be trading
I realise you have sent an email about it, but actually you wait until a notice to keeper (NtK) is received as far as I know, something that mey be unlikely to happen as they are unlikely to be able to obtain your address etc, even if they have the name on the blue badge
I am sure others on here can tell you more than I can about this, but its important that you and your hubby realise it is not a fine
it is a charge , an invoice asking for payment for an obscure reason that may not be enforcible in law
I suggest you read the sticky threads about all this whilst waiting for better advice - but at the moment do not give them your details at all and I would not worry about it for the time being - it may never happen !!!0 -
You fail to mention the company name, if it's cms then it should be reported to the official receiver that they are still trading, possibly unlawfully. So please give exact name and address for the company as there are a few companies with similar namesWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

OP has already had it all explained on the thread they jumped on to. I suggested they open a new thread only if any further communication was received from CMS - perhaps didn't understand
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/63858795#Comment_63858795This outfit are no longer members of the BPA Approved Operators Scheme, so shouldn't be able to get your details from the DVLA, and so they don't (and won't) know who you are from Adam.
Keep it that way - DO NOT MAKE ANY CONTACT WITH THEM WHATSOEVER. If you find they've somehow got hold of your home address, then get back to us, but please start a new thread so we can deal specifically with your circumstances. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

complain to the retail park, if it is CMS and they are insolvent then the retail park could also be in trouble for allowing them to operate on their land.
when complaining to the retail park tell them what you said in your original posthe tax disc states my husband is disabledFrom the Plain Language Commission:

I have been reading some of the threads and looked on BPA but can't find the company listed anywhere !!!
We are just going to ignore it now, I wouldn't mind but the car park is free parking !!!
Realise now we should have waited for a notice through the post but was thinking of the fine being cheaper if paid earlier so wanted appeal straight away , now know this was a bad idea !!!
Didn't give them the address tho .0 -

The next move cAme today...how cheeky and desperate of them. They replied to our appeal by email..see below.
As you are wanting to make an appeal you need to fill out the appeals form on the website as we need all driver details ie: Home address.
Mmm don't think we will be responding...obviously can't get our address as no longer bpa members so trying to get them this way.
What do the experts on this think please ??
Thanks x0 -
Please do not do anything until you receive a letter titled Notice to Keeper.
Do not send any e-mails or give them any details.
You have landed in good hands, if they send a notice to keeper the good people of this forum will help you step by step appeal to a body known as POPLA where the parking charge will be struck out.
Re-assure hubby, all is in hand.
If it fails at POPLA following the advice, as it is Christmas, I will pay it myself.
How about that for a guarantee .Be happy...;)0 -

Dear ticketers
I'm in receipt of your reply, unfortunately i cannot help you gain the drivers details, why don't you go to the dvla and get them ? Of course you have to join an ATA AOS firstI won't be endorsing your application !
