Iron?

Hey all
I got given a £25 "online" VISA Gift Card for my birthday. Basically this is a giftcard type thing that you register online and it gives you a VISA number, which you can use to buy things online.
Here's the thing - shopping online isn't like a shop. You can't pay £25 on the giftcard and make up the rest on a credit card. You have to pay the whole lot on one card. So to avoid wasting any balance on the gift card, I need to buy something worth pretty much exactly £25.
As it happens, I need an iron. Argos have one for £24.99, allegedly reduced from £49.99.
I can deal with losing the penny on the card. But to be honest I don't want to spend £25 on a lump of carp. I don't know much about irons, but this gets 4.5 stars out of >100 reviews - is it even worth spending £25 on an iron or am I wasting my cash if I do this? How much should I look to spend?
I hate ironining :rotfl:
Cheers!

Cheap irons are next to useless so I reckon £25 is about the least you can spend for something that is actually going to do the job. That iron looks alright to me and the reviews are favourable.
Can't you top the card up with more money if there is something more expensive you wish to buy?0 -
If you get the model details, go to Amazon and see if it's sold there. If it is, read the reviews to see how good or bad it is.0
