Hi,
I bought a HUDL a few weeks ago. Really pleased with it apart from the battery life time.
I fully charge the battery but I reckon that I get less than 5hrs life out of it.
I even power off the unit completely and, if I don't use if for 2 days, when I switch it on again the battery lifetime dispaly in the top right hand corner has gone down at least one level !
I have highlighted this already to Tesco who have advised me of some actions to rectify but the problems still persist.
Can someone please advise me whether I have a faulty HUDL or whether it is perfoming as expected.
Thanks

It depends what you using it for. Some test results on battery life here:

I get much better results than that, but that's probably because I turn brightness down to a reasonable level, only have wi-fi i on when I'm online and power off over night.
I generally get between 2 and 4 days out of a charge depending on usage0 -

The battery usage display will tell you what's using the most,it's normally the screen/standby followed by the o/s0 -
There have been a lot of problems over the last week after google update, lots of people complaining about battery life, down to google updating google play services. Something about keeping the device awak for long periods of time, draining the battery by 50%
Not sure if this is the case for you or if they have solved itMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
It is a cheap tablet. 5 hours seems reasonable.
You get what you pay for I'm afraid.0 -
You really need to tell us what the battery display says. After just over a day on battery (but without much actual use) mine is down to 62%, wifi is the biggest user at 39% although Fused Location takes over 20%, and may well use a lot more unless you make sure GPS is turned off.0

Claims it can last 9 hours, not that it will last 9 hours. So if watching films, then 5 hours is about rightMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
