if your out your 12 month contract, yeah they will give you it

The SIM Online tariff's say you do not have a 12 month contract so does that mean I can cancel after two weeks after taking it out?

I want to test to see whether it is cheaper for me to go on this or stay on Online PAYG.

You have to give 30 days notice, so I guess that would mean that if you tried it for 2 weeks, you would have to have it for nearer 6 weeks in total

You have to have it for a minimum of one month then you can leave it if you want. I was on o2 online 200 in the middle of my contract. I had been with them for three years and rang up to change to the sim only offer but they said no. So i kept ringing and eventually they gave it to me. Maybe worth hassling them if you really want it.
