Have been ignoring parking invoices, what to do now?

Just a quick question really. I've been receiving invoices from Debt Recovery Plus for a parking stay during August, I've been ignoring all of them, I was browsing this site today and realised that now the best thing is to appeal.
I'm just wondering, should I appeal or continue ignoring the letters?
The last one I received was headed - 'notice of impending court action'.
I should add also, that I've had these exact letters from a stay in the same car park in 2012, I ignored them as was the common advise at the time, they eventually stopped.

The common advice from this forum has been to appeal since the introduction of POFA 2012.
Which PPC is it?
- I do hope it is not Parking Eye as you are leaving yourself wide open for court papers to be served.
Do you live in England or Wales?
There is no keeper liability in Scotland or NI - so unless you have named the driver - very little chance of any further action being taken.
Is the Registered Keeper the same person as the driver?
If you live in England and Wales, did not receive a windscreen parking charge and the driver is different to the registered keeper, then the clock can be reset by naming the driver.
Answer the above questions and the forum can advise you further.0 -

Thanks for your reply.
PPC is Highview Parking LTD

The registered keeper IS the same person as the driver.0 -
Just bumping the thread.0

You have probably missed your chance to go to POPLA. Now if the driver was someone else, you could restart the clock - probably - by giving up the driver. But if it is the same person as the keeper, then you need to weather the storm of letters unless real Northampton Court papers come.0

Have you read the sticky threads I mentioned to this poster who had also made the mistake of ignoring a fake PCN (the advice changed nearly A YEAR ago!):

HTH, read the stickies at the top which are there for newbies advice & info...and decide whether to respond or not. Certainly complain if this was daft old Tesco who use Highview, or another retail/leisure park!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
