TalkTalk issues

Hi and thank you for reading the following and I hope someone can give me some advice

I took out a service with TalkTalk in April of this year - phone line, broadband and youview box.

Had complaints with them right at the start and was persuaded to stay.

The main issue is the broadband in that it is very slow, intermittent and you can only use with one device. Have spoken to the supposed technical support numerous times mainly over July/August as I'm a teacher and this was my only free time. I tried re-setting the router, changing the adsl filters and getting a replacement router - none of this has worked!

It is now November and still now been resolved so phoned them up to cancel - the bloke on the phone of course tried to persuade me to stay and see if they can fix the service. I said as I have given ample opportunity to do so I still want to leave. He has put a cancellation note through for 30 days time and put me through to a Customer Manager to see about the termination fees - all she wanted to do was argue with me and send an engineer out despite me saying they have had 7 months to sort out. The call was ended with her saying wait until you get the final bill and we will look at the charges then and see if they can help. Also according to her there are no notes on the system for my account. Apart from one email where I complained 3 weeks ago stating the broadband does not work.

Please can anyone offer any guidance of how to follow this up as I do not want to pay termination fees other than the months notice as I feel they broke their T&C's by not providing me with the service they said they would.

Thanks for the reading and hope it makes sense. If it doesn't please ask me questions. Hope someone kind enough to help will come along :)
