Quick question about cancelling Sky

Hi all
I'm on a rolling contract with sky and I'm about to cancel later this morning and I want a bit of info before i call them.
They have previously offered me a discount a couple of days ago but I just dont use it enough to justify it.
I've also got a Humax box coming today.
However, i've got quite a lot of unwatched stuff on my Sky box.
My question is
If I ring up to cancel today will it basically be turned off today or will i get 30 days.
ta in advance!

28 days notice is required. Which since you pay a month in advance, is already paid for.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

was told 31 days the other day when I was speaking on chat with an agent...crafty I thought.0

Have you already rung them, I have a Freephone number if you want it.
0800 0983624make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
As stated it will go off 31 days after you call them, so you have to watch the stuff saved to the box by then.
You don't need to worry about timing in the month though, I got my dates wrong when cancelling and was charged £5 for the 2 extra days, ie you will NOT be charged a full extra month.0
