they carry parts from budget to mid range. They are about 5-10% more expensive than motor factors with the advantage that they have large inventory and you can browse through their web store which you can't do on motor factors.
I use them for my service parts and I've had good experiences.0 -
I used them for my last but one car and always found them good/competitive.0

Good discounts sometimes. Much cheaper than Halfords.
They have an online only division also parts 4 less? Even cheaper but obviously if you get the wrong item you need to return it etc.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Been using them, and GSF for many years, no complaints.
Euro/Carparts4less have the online (free postage) buying experience well sorted, as well as the order/collect service from Eurocarparts shops, often cheaper than over the counter.
Ordered new Pagid pads/Discs on Monday, delivered today, can't complain about that.0 -
Generally good in branch, but whenever I order online, I wish I hadn't.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

You can get permanent dis out codes if you're a member of a car enthusiast forum ., which matches carparts4less prices with the advantage that you can collect at the counter. I live a mile away from a branch so I always reserve online with coupon and collect in store.
I'm surprised ecp don't have a permanent coupon code here at mse0 -
Half the staff can barely count to potato and the managers are thicker a sh*t sandwich. It's hit and miss if you actually get the right part even if you put your reg number in.... the box might have the right model number in it but there's as much chance that the box contains a pizza, as it does the right parts.
That's pretty much how one of my mates rates them, and he works for them.
but if you do get the right parts they're cheap enough.0 -
Local one to me in Milton Keynes helped me out of hole, going to great effort to find the right alternator for my Caterham. Not an easy job as the engine was not original, and in any case had a non-standard alternator on it. Nothing but praise for them.Unless it is damaged or discontinued - ignore any discount of over 25%0

I would have thought it would be handy to have the reg of a car which has the your engine factory fitted in it.
Whenever I'm doing insurance quotes for cars I'm looking to buy, I go on autorader and look up regs and enter those regs in the comparison sites.0 -
Local ecp (probably them all now) started putting hologram seals on just about everything a few months ago. The reason being they had so many returns for wrong parts. They blamed traders, traders knew better and as the two companies use the same ICT systems, don't expect to get the right part from either of them.
Use your local factor where they actually do have skills, knowledge and experience in the trade, not these fulfilment drones.0
