Question: what would you do in this situation?

It looks like I might get some work back at the old company I used to work for. I've not had any work for two and a half months now but I'm worried that they'll offer me something that's a lot more junior than what I've been doing recently. Would you take it? I've not had the offer yet so maybe I'm worrying for nothing and they'll suggest something great.

BUT I'm torn between- a jobs a job and worrying it'll negatively impact my career as I'll get a reputation for doing anything for money. I don't know anyone else in the industry who has had to make this compromise. All my other friends seem to go up and up and up and generally seem more valued.

Anyway like I said I don't know it's going to be a lot more junior but what would you do?

Like aau said it really is up to you. No idea why you are no longer there but if they asked you back they value your skills, A lower role will still pay the bills and it could lead to something else.

I declined someone's resignation today, (think it was made in anger) advising them that it would be better not to have that gap in their CV unless it was avoidable. The job market as you know is difficult, and if a better role pops up just take it.

Thanks bubbs, hope it does go smoothly. Don't think I can cope with it dragging on. They are coming back to look at it tomorrow as her OH has not even seen it yet. Hope that does not make a difference.

But Estate agent was getting everything sent off today.

In Tesco and got all confused.

The ES, seems to be 2 different offers on 2 for £4 on the flutes and BOGOF on the £4 octagon shaped boxes. The latter seems much better value, but which is the one that compares for PP?

Mine was oct boxes last week. Hth

Should I get the 15 Danios and a free porridge from Click and collect or should I not bother.

    I'm passing tomorrow.

I've reserved a spot just in case you think I should:)
