Hi I am needing some advise/help re fleabay, my DH bought an item after asking the seller a question that he answered to the positive, the item arrived yesterday but does not have the function that DH asked about, my DH thinks that seller just said what he new my dh wanted to hear to make the sale, any way we now have a £1300 item that is not the right one and the sellar has agreed to it's return if we pay the postage but I have looked and it is going to cost about £65:eek:, sellar charged £15 on the listing - so my question is who should be pay the return post us or the seller, thanks for reading my epic tale :)

Just catching up - again :( but in case you have not been answered it is usually the buyer who pays return postage. I had a similar experience with something I purchased and no matter what I did fleabay would not get the seller to pay return postage - even though I considered I too had been mislead :mad: and the item was carp
Won't be making that mistake again - the robbing s*ds are not bothered about small customers. I would def be ringing fleabay to try to get them to agree to get seller to pay postage - if all else fails your bank may be able to help. That is what I ended up doing :D

I agree...there are too many scammers on there now:(

I used to do a bit of selling on there a few years back but don't bother much now due to the RM postage costs and rip off merchants, claiming they haven't received the item etc...

certainly wouldn't buy anything from the far east...

Same here  its happening more and more and fleabay couldn't care less :(

Would you be kind enough to give store codes to Tesco Xmas events, I can't find any anywhere.
I have my local receipt but they don't hold the evenings there. Last time I went to Clapham but have no idea how to get store numbers????
    TIA

Ah yes I had this with York store as non of my receipts left and not local - so I called them and explained needed for feedback but lost my receipt and she happily provided their store number. :) so google their telephone number and someone will help - good luck....

    you've just lost 1p per kilo:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Tempted to slightly edit this and add it to my signature - something along the lines of "just lost a kilo ....". But that would be cheating. No xmas lunch for me today after all but the free pork made up for it :D, maybe I'll lose a kilo in real time ...:)

What is the cheapest so far? Paisleyfreight would be about £85.

Thanks guys my head is spinning with prices, tnt were £80 uninsured, p2go were £122, think my location isn't helping, we are in the north of scotland but anyone would think britian stops at Perth when it comes to couriers and the weight as it's 14kg( think of a large dvd player in a box with lots of packaging) and it has to go to Nottingham so Bikertov I wont be delivering it:D, have talked to ebay so will wait 8 days and see, I did offer for the buyer to re sell and just have it couriered from my house which would save this return hassle so will see what he thinks of that.:)

    Your freezer situation is worrying.

    I might lose sleep tonight.

Was it our David who won the quiz?

Would you believe I forgot to get the breasts out this morning.

So it's chicken for tea tomorrow now. :rotfl:

I will try and do a pic later of the frozen shelves, I don't think I have ever had one this bad. :o

Don't worry TM, Dodo will keep on to me until I do it so don't lose any sleep. ;)

Yes I wondered if it was our David. too. Man with brains eh? :T
