They are frozen yes and very nice too! I got my vouchers in T's but you saying that makes sense of something for me...when I used them in A's on Sunday the SA that approved them said "oh yes, they are new they are from the cashpoint they have come out today."

Now this SA is the type to refuse even the most valid coupon so I was surprised they were OK'd. So if A's are doing them too then I hope a few more peeps can get some!

    :D

I got trouted big style trying to use in Tesco tonight
It was their Cash Machine giving out the vouchers. Check out girl went for Supervisor who came back with Security Guard and at least 2 others who I think were plain clothes security.
Wanted to know if I had printed it - No from your Cash Machine, go and check.
    We can't do that.
Me - Then have a look at the complete one I have just got, but it has my Bank Details on it, so you can't take it away.
Big Que behind me and lots of onlookers.
Told them they could keep all my shopping, shame as I had found a couple of nice big chickens on BOGOF :(, and wanted to see Manager.
He eventually came, but took the side of staff, said he had never seen the voucher before and it could be fake.
Let me take you to YOUR Cash Machine and show you - No!
But your CM has been printing them for days and you can't tell me no-one has used one, and why the Security Guard?
Him, he knows which coupons are fraudulent :mad::mad:
Me, I am not being treated this way, want to log a complaint.
    Him, No You Can't
Me -Well Darren we shall see what CS says when I ring them tomorrow!

I think it might be my fault there is a link to here as I put a link to here in my pm.

    SAD LOSS OF A MEMBER

    Hi,
I am hoping you or someone in mse towers reads your messages because I would like you to see what has been done for one of your members and if possible for you to put something in your weekly email in rememberance of them and acknowledgement of what I feel is the spirit of mse, not just money saving but a community.

A long term member and contributor to mse madmuppet5 http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/member.php?u=559103 passed away on wednesday night this week. He touched a lot of members lives with his humour and posts, first of all mainly on the coupon thread then on another thread called the elite. I was lucky enough to know him in real life, we met through mse and I luckily called him a friend. His friends from mse set up a just giving page which so far has raised £1400 for cancer research, the majority of that raised in the first 24 hours and all contributed by mse members. A fund has also been set up for some flowers which has topped £200 as well.

Last year he himself raised money for leukemia in the name of his 14 year old niece who died, making a dreadful record, but he raised over £680.

Here is a link to a page which was set up with the details about him http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...19&postcount=2.

Please could you consider putting some kind of acknowledgement of him and what has been done in his name in the newsletter for all to see.

    Thanks

That's lovely Blue. I think it's fitting that that he has been acknowledged. You have shown a great deal of humility this last week and a great deal of diplomacy when you might have felt events have overtaken themselves somewhat. Hats off to you :A
