Are you able to work around it or minimize? To try and access your own AV software or internet browseR?

I can minimize it and open Internet explorer but can not open AVG

Please talk me through exactly which steps you took.

In other words, which steps you have taken that have matched with the instructions given.

I have now got totally fed up with the plonkers who issued this malware and have now reformatted the system.

A lot of work wasted - I hope they are happy.

Thank you for everyone who replied to help me.
