Designeroutletuk.com fake?

Does anyone else have experience of buying on line from Designeroutletuk.com? It appears to be a UK site that sells resonable priced designer wear, too much of it to be fake copies. However, I ordered goods totalling less than £100 for my boyfriend for Christmas, paid by credit card, the payment went into a PayPal Account with what then came up with Sobay Marketing P Phong. I then received an invoice with no company name, address etc. The only contact details I have for the company is an email address. The email confirmation states the goods will be shipped by airmail, so now I know the company is not UK based. Once I know all this I have no means of cancelling the order on the site.

It has been 3 weeks since placing the order, I have no tracking for my goods and they have not arrived. The website boasts 100% guarantee, and 24 hour reply to queries, however I have emailed them numerous times with no reply.

I have contacted my credit card company and told I am not covered as the purchase is under £100. They will try and get the money back for me but in all I am liable. I do not hold much hope. I have done some reasearch and have now found out that the company has done this to others, but for some reason the website still operates.

I have contacted Paypal to see if they can advise at all on the person behind it all, but without reply. Any ideas?

Looks fake goods to me...£14.40 for an lv belt, really? The real thing is £275!!!

when did you exactly order? Have you had a dispatch notification?

Domain is registered in San Diego but it still is a Chinese operation...for sure.

Agree with jwruk - knew straight away from that address that it was not going to be good news. Sorry. Hope you get some joy via the bank.

Ordered 3rd November I've had account set up confirmation, order confirmation, payment confirmation from paypal, payment confirmation from company itself and dispatch confirmation on the 4th. Account also states completed order. Just no goods and no reply from them. The website supposed to have been in operation since 2010 according to research.

So it shipped on the 4th. I make that two weeks two days, not three weeks.

For a Chinese shipper you're going to have wait a bit longer...

also no phone number or physical postal address. They are a USA operation.

Paypal say I can still dispute with them and if no joy can make a claim within 20 days of the dispute, there is hope yet

I means that the person who registered the site is claiming to be based in San Diego, CA and that the site is 'hosted' in Russia.

Both factors aren't typical of a UK based supplier.

this would explain the shipping timeframe

Please allow anywhere from 12 to 21 days depending on your location

as it would take approx. 10 days for a parcel from the USA
