Sweetie gun????

Don't know if this is the right board to post on but here goes. When asked what she would like for Xmas/Santa to bring etc my 5yr old g.daughter's answer never changes - A Sweetie Gun, it fires sweeties! Now my daughter and I have wracked our brains,googled,asked other parents,kids,trailed through catalogues etc etc but have no idea where she has got this idea from. But she is adamant this is what she really would like. She didn't see it on telly etc. We don't really want toy guns - but has anyone any suggestions as to how to get round this one. Just visualising her surrounded by presents Xmas morning looking for this damn sweetie gun!!!

Does she watch Christmas films? There's a scene in a film where outside a department store there are staff dressed up firing red guns at each other which shoot out what looks like bubble gum, they are catching them in their mouths and putting them into the hands of kids who go into the shop

Did you ask her where she saw it, was it a film? Its probably American. They tend not to sell any sort of toy gun in UK anymore

Auntie Yorkie. Marshmallow gun for adults only!!! Now Santa couldn't leave that for a little girl!

Vikki. Yes she has been watching some Xmas movies, possibly saw what you've described!


Think we will go down the path of "it was only in the movie" and "for adults only". Thanks for all your help.
