Not the most pleasant, but quite effective is to fix a hose with a high pressure end on to a shaped piece of rod and lash it onto a pole so it is pointing down at about 45 degrees if you hook the nozzle over the edge of the gutter you can blast out the debris.
Be warned you will get soaked and covered with whatever comes out of the gutter!
That's another possibility (and I don't generally mind getting covered in carp and water but it is decidedly chilly now). If I can get far enough away from the business end, so to speak, I might escape the mud bath... need to try and rig something up from ground level perhaps. Anyway, something else to ponder.
