Guttering cleaning - DIY

Have been looking at getting some form of 'kit' for cleaning a hard to get to section of guttering (it's over an extension so even with a ladder it's impossible). From the ground I can see grass growing from the offending section of guttering, so it needs doing!
Ideally, I need something that can be used on a pole but the only thing I have come across on google appears to be carp (sort of 'paddle' on a hooked aluminium extendable pole).
Kaercher do a cleaner but at about £70 a pop it's not cheap and would it cope with my small 'lawn' (as described above)?

Any thoughts?

But how would it cope with the 'balloons' over the downpipes?
Mine are old wire balloons and the last thing I want is for some device to disturb them and allow all that carp to go down my drains.
I can't see any alternative to a ladder.0 -
I used to use an old paintbrush extending handle and an "empty" pain roller on mine, wasn't perfect but usualy got the bulk of stuff out.0

Lash a spoon to the end of a 4m length of 15mm pipe and use that from the ladder?0

I'd second this assuming OP can get a ladder in a decent position to use them safely & recover the debris.
Just don't twist them anti-clockwise & lose them in your guttering! If I had a pound for every time I've had to recover these from peoples drains...!0 -
I had a section of gutter which was hard to reach so i got an old brush pole and attached an empty can to the end.
The can is roughly the same size as guttering and if tou can cut it lenghways to make it like a garden trowel, just keep sliding it up and down the gutter.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

I have been thinking about getting something to do this myself. I did make a plastic carton to scrap it out the last time but I want something better. I did see that drain rod scraper device but my guttering is square so it would not fit very well.
I came across this type of thing which looked like it would do what I wanted. There are different sizes and shapes and I am sure one would be the right size to fit any shape of guttering and it should be stiff enough to pull the general dirt and debris from the guttering to where it can be scooped out.
I have an old aluminium pole in sections which lock together with press in locking tabs from Betterware which was meant to clean upper windows and it has become my device to clean guttering because it's fairly light weight. All I need is one of these brushes and fix them together.0 -

Many thanks to all. Lots of good ideas here. The cherry picker route I would never have thought of (I want one).
To clarify, I can access the extension roof using a ladder but the roof is pitched and I cannot get eye level with the gutter, which at the top of the pitched roof, is still 2 meters (ish) above me. Any tool or DIY solution I use needs to be 'operated' from below. So something on the end of a crooked pole would fit the bill.
Apart from the cherry picker, which would solve the problem., any further ideas gratefully received.
Thanks again,
