which company offers best 0844/0845 cal charges
Options
Current have a 7.50 pm package for 250 mins calls and 5000 texts which is more that adequate for my needs but have to call 0844/845 numbers few times each month which more than doubles costs and last month tripled it. (tescomobile) I am very happy with service and coverage - but these calls are expensive with them.
I have googled and search but just confused now so any suggestions would be most welcomed.
many thanks in advance

T-Mobile contracts now generally include all 08 numbers as part of their bundle.0

Have you checked for ordinary geographic numbers on www.saynoto0870.com
Also, if you check on the company/organisation web site there are sometimes numbers listed to call from overseas, especially banks.
I can't remember the last time I couldn't find a way around an 0844/0845 number, but your mileage may vary.0 -

I wouldn't bother choosing a network based on this. From the middle of 2014, 084 and 087 numbers will be outlawed for customer service lines by Article 21 of Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, which will be enacted under Regulation 39 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Payments) Regulations 2013.0

ooher that is good, wonder how long it will take companies to alter them though. I can see a lot not doing it or overlooking the need to alter print and web contact areas where such are displayed - and what about government departments ?I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0

You can use https://www.weq4u.co.uk to call most of the more well known 084/087 customer service numbers. Numbers are converted by them to 03 numbers which are included in your inclusive minutes.
I always find it odd that on tesco payg they only charge 8p a minute to call 0844/0845.
If your interested in whats happening to these sort of numbers. Read this thread http://www.saynoto0870.com/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.cgi?num=1384676248/25#25 your see some well known companies are already about to ditch non geographical numbers..0 -
Its possible to call 0845/0870 only via 18185 at a reasonable price via there 020 number using your inc minutes.http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php
T-Mob include them in some contracts ( Full Monty ones are one exception) but they have now stopped including them in sim only contracts.0 -
