  • It's all made up nonsense.

Surely you mean 'Complete Nonsense' as per your alter ego.
    Firstly, have a house,

    Half right.
    secondly, don't post on HPC,

OK. They banned you? Live with it.
    thirdly, there is no "gang".

Oh yes there is. It's just that nobody will allow you to join it.
Though the poster apears to believe it gives him some kind of authority to make out otherwise.

He has no authority whatsoever to say what's on his mind! What does he think this is? A free country? With free speech? I'm disgusted. Personally I'm not going to read any more of his posts unless he publishes his written authority.

As you know, I know my place. Without authority, I wouldn't dream of posting any opinions on here. Opinions are like asrholes - we all have them. But it's not wise to show them in public.
This whole bitcoin thing is fascinating. It appears those who care the most about bitcoins, have the least interest in owning them.

Personally, I think they are a derivative of nothing, and eventually be worth nothing. I think you should buy some if you're so fascinated.

It sounds just the sort of investment Graham would put his money into. From reading his posts over the years when he has dipped his toe into investing I can confirm that Graham is the classic 'mug punter'. He buys into an investment when it's all over the TV and internet, he's 'all that' when it's rising for the first day, he dumps the stock for a loss after it has fallen for a couple of days. I don't think he's ever held an investment for more than a week before panicking on a slight fall and dumping it for a loss.

You have a mortgage on half a house and pay rent to the housing association for the other half. You want a housing crash so that you can pick up the whole house for a song. You have been banned from HPC for being too negative on the economy and house prices.

Admittedly the ranks of your 'gang' has thinned out now that most of them have realised that there isn't going to be a crash and have shamefully snuck out of here and HPC with their tails between their legs and bought homes. At one point though, you were Danny, leader of the T-Birds, now you're just Moe from the Three Stoogies. :rotfl:

If you want to continue to 'slag off' other users, could you confine it to the appropriate forum i.e, the Debate Forum. No one here is interested in your petty squabbles.

Something you need to tell yourself, you're always having a go at me trev. Pity you're such a lightweight and therefore no competition.:rotfl:

Bitcoin has no place on a savings and investments board. Can the mods please move this thread to the gambling and pyramid scheme board? Thanks.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

    Make your mind up.

At the top of this page, you asked for a poster's opinion on Bitcoin.

If you don't want to talk about this popular topic, go find another thread to disrupt with your faux understanding of a major new technology.

Although I did buy 10 sovereigns back in 2008 when there was talk of financial armageddon and whatnot.

I'd sort of forgotten about them but now you mention it, I might sell some of them now and buy some more bitcoins.

I'm calling BS on this one.

You bought 10 gold sovereigns in 2008 and 'sort of' forgot about them?

You're all over Bitcoin like a rash - I find it difficult to believe you got into gold and didn't obsess about it in exactly the same way.

    OK mate, no problem.

(we are only talking about £900 -at the time- of gold mind)
