Nope, size 6 sadly! No I didn't think of ebay, I will have a good search now

If you need a few cheaper pairs it may be the way to go to get you though the winter or look at Next if you want to buy it and charge to a Next account and pay a bit off each month or Shoe Tailor are good too. We’ve had to remove your signature. Search new and used as a lot of people buy shoes, wear them once and sell them so don't dismiss used shoes unless they are worn to death haha

Ah forgot Next, I have an account with them

Why dont you just get a pair of chelsea boots like these http://www.shoezone.com/Womens/Boots/Ankle/Lilley-Womens-Black-Ankle-Chelsea-Boot-18066.
Or a flat black court shoe type?.
I'd just get the right thing and not be messing about with fur topped boots if you really need to be smart.
You definatley dont want to be getting those you pointed out they are really old fashioned and frumpy. You want a pair that are nice and comfortable without being Grannyish.0 -
Yeah I may just get a pair of boots, i'm going to try on my trousers with my boots and see how it looks. Moneys tight so i'd rather use what I already have but I will buy some if I need too
Are court shoes like ballerina shoes? I have a pair of those, plain black, but mine are quite flimsy (primark) x

I wear something like these:

I'm sure any trousers shoes/boots will be fine.

Flats, loafers, trousers shoes. Possibly ballet pumps if it's a youngish office (and your fairly young), boots or court shoes.
Your boots should be fine. Not sure I like the first ones you suggested. They would probably be o.k but are a bit old fashioned but you could possibly get away with it with black socks and long trousers
df
Edit: these are court shoes - fairly pointy at the front and a thinish heel (and not too high). http://www.marksandspencer.com/Autograph-Suede-Leather-Lining-Insolia%C2%AE/dp/B00DCJ77P2 I'm not suggesting those, it was more to give you an idea what court shoes are!Making my money go further with MSE :j

Not sure about the offices general age, but i'm not too old
I haven't actually been told the dress code yet, but going by what I saw when I went in, the people were dressed fairly smart (women were in blousers and black trousers, seen one with boots over her trousers)
Ill have a google of the shoes you've suggested
Thanks0 -
Ballet shoes work for 20/30 somethings but I don't think they'd look quite right on a 50 year old (for example)!
You can always wear those boots with fur on (As long as the fur is hidden under the trousers!) to start with until you decide whether to splash out a bit more.
