  • Fingers crossed for your DH.

a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library

  • The form for the charity event has been handed in. No going back now! Library books returned. Shopping done in sainz and aldee. Now for the rest of HUTH and some sewing... Today's to-do list is rather long...

Ouchie to that price! Is it in a stately home, with a banquet thrown in? Allmy stuff sits under the tenner price, so this kind of event is waaay beyond me! Good luck.

No :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: It's the best bear fair in the world, literally the most prestigious, exhibitors even come from Japan, USA and Australia to exhibit (mine are £10 an inch and I'm cheap)

Finished the remaining 8 bunnies :T and have started on the lavender bags, which are more fiddly/more work than I remember them being! But still fun to make.

Dd and I went swimming and she showed me all that she has learned in her lessons with school. It was not long ago that she clung to me like a limpet, in both little and big pools, and now she is happy for me to go and do some lengths while she practises. I got 20 lengths done :T and the pool was not busy and there were a couple of littler ones with a parent near her + 2 lifeguards. So she was fine!

Dh went to do the PA and AV stuff for an old friend's funeral service this afternoon. Old friend as in 'known for a long time', he was only 52.

Dd and I are continuing with our game of Monopoly. I think she is winning - she certainly has a huge stash of cash!

Tomorrow dd wants a pyjama day :D.

This is definitely not a 'little hobby'! Am in awe!

I have finished off 13 lavender bags :D. The new purple fabric is fraying as I cut it with the pinking shears, so I'll have to do internal seams if I keep using it... Or find other fabric... Wonder how red stripey would work...?

Today's task is to add flowers to the big bunny hats.

And then maybe make some lavender owls or penguins...

    And colour my hair.

    And play Monopoly...

  • Another 3 lavender bags were skulking on the floor, so they have been duly embellished. And more fabric that plays nicely has been commandeered into - if I do say so myself - totally awesome lavender bags.

Took dd up to a local coffee shop where they sometimes have a gf peanut/caramel thingy. Had they had none, we would have continued up to c0sta. However, they did indeed have some, so dd had that + a frappucino (stuffed with more marshmallows than milk!) And I had a free black coffee, courtesy of my full stamper card.

Dd read and I cut out about 20 felt mice. Yep - not on the agenda. Oopsie.

The big bunnies all have flowers on their hats = much, much better. Come to think of it, I mightn't have done the ones set aside for the raffle... must check later...

Meant to cut out some owls tonight, but the flowers took longer than anticipated. There's always tomorrow... so long as I have around 10 awesome lavender bags and 10 owls done by next sat...

And I may have bought some gorgeous rose fabric whilst in a ch shop with dd - where she acquired another china doll :D. Fair's fair!
