Best place to get PAYG smartphone and phone suggestions

Options
Hello

I am looking for a smartphone and can not seem to think of any other sites that sell PAYG smartphones. I am hoping someone on here can help me.

I have had a look at the Carphone warehouse, Phones4U, supermarkets, Amazon, Argos and a couple of networks. What good sites have I missed?

Ideally looking for the Huawei Ascend Y300. The Carphone warehouse appears to have the best deal but I was hoping not to have to spend quite that much. The LG Optimus L3 II looks good too but would be better with a slightly bigger screen.

I am open to suggestions on an android phone. The cheaper the better (under £60 if possible) and a screen of 3.5"/4". Will be used for a few apps, calls/texts and GPS.

Sadly can not do the PAYG upgrade option so price needs to be based on normal PAYG with a top-up.

Any help/ideas would be great. Thankyou.

ZTE Blade V is a little cheaper and has slightly better specifications than Y300:

£90+£10 at Virgin, but most likely locked unlike CPW phones.

One of the cheapest is Alcatel S-Pop white now £39.99 @o2 delivered
    The screen is 3.5"

Thankyou for the suggestions but the ZTE is a bit too much although it would be fine through Virgin Mobile.

I can get the Huawei for £79.95 (with £10 top-up) and the LG for £59.95 (with £10 top-up).

Looking at Alcatel S-Pop reviews people seem to have a problem with the battery dying fast. Would it be good enough to cope with GPS/maps?
  • Are there any other similar phones?

I never understand why people buy a phone with a sim card. I have nice Nexsu 4 from Google, and at present I am with Three on the 3p 2p 1p deal
Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring
  • I would get a good second hand Nexus on ebay if you can. No bloatware, no sim lock.

On a pay monthly sim. So can not do the upgrade option, do not want to cancel that for a monthly contract with a phone and so that only leaves the option of buying PAYG with a top-up that will not ever be used unless I can get a sim free phone, but usually they cost more and it is not worth it.

I've never heard of any of them.

Funbookes is a US site, I need a UK site. It is also not a secure site, it was registered in 2013 and is due to expire in 2014. Not convinced about the items on that site being real either.

Pandawill, it says the best China wholesale. I want one phone, not wholesale. They also hide all site details about registration, expiring date etc. which is dodgy for a company.

Everybuying, well straight away google suggested searching everybuying scam. But did you mean !!!!!!!!!!? If so it has a very bad WOT (Web Of Trust) rating, it appears to fake items modelled after the real thing, is all from China and certainly shouldn't be bought from. Everybuying appears to have once been a poorly rated site selling goods from China too.

Sorry but out of all possible sites in the world that you could have mentioned I am confused as to why you would suggest such scam sites.
