  • If you've acknowledged on MCOL that you will defend your claim as KIFL told you this extends the claim UP to a period of 28 days (from first receipt) to submit your defence:

This thread tells you in detail the process:

You need to start researching now your defence and this will involve reading a lot of threads and writing it in your own words.

As you are new to the forum and obviously finding it quite difficult to navigate your way around here are some recent threads involving cases where help has been sought for parking eye court cases:

Follow the threads and links contained in the above two threads to give more information and there are many more

These threads should give some indication if you read them all carefully. The forum is here to help you defend your case but you have to work with us to help you as there are many other people to help.

We can help with your defence but you will need to understand.
Whilst POPLA is too late for you now - it is good to read some of the POPLA threads as you will understand the terminology better and the basic principles will still apply in court eg contracts and gpeol plus many others.

You should really write to the centre where you received the parking charge especially if you are regular customers as they can and do instruct parking eye to cancel even after court papers have been issued.

Read the STICKY thread at top started by Coupon Successful Complaints ......how to get them cancelled.

ONE THING YOU MUST NOT DO IS MISS THE EXTENDED FILING TIME FOR DEFENDING.

A bit harsh ouch, I come and register here out of desperation and get my head bitten off. My question was about the actual piece of paper we received and what to do with that which was kindly answered to do online which I have now done.

The next question was do I wait for anything else to come or write to parking eye and.the court asap now I have more time. Like I said I have spent alot of time trawling threw posts, sorry that I am not up on how to use forums and stickeys. I can be bothered otherwise I wouldn't be asking for help would I? All the wording doesn't make sence again a apologise that a don't know these things are and I appreciate it must be frustrating been asked the same.quetions all the time but I am struggling hence the reason for then post. I will look again tomorrow at these links and see if there is any advice on what I can use as.defence as I am guessing I put that together now? And I will look at the posts regarding these letters before court papers. Again I will try and look at posts regarding contacting the shops but if I didn't use the shops (no proof) and such a short time scale obviously I am panicking. Thank you again

Sorry to be harsh yesterday, please do look again ant the sticky threads mentioned - they are simply the normal info threads permanently stuck at the top of the forum, for your info. And read lots of Northampton court papers threads on pepipoo forum as linked already because there are LOADS on there with a ton of advice about defence.

And see this offer which I can recommend:

    PP can help you. :)
