I'm sure they're just trying it on.
I bought (completed) a flat a few weeks ago and within the last week, an estate agent has put the flat on their site for rent.
They're not who I bought through. They may have been in charge of rental some time before.
How should I approach them?

Are you 100% sure it's your flat? I know sometimes the same external pictures and sometimes even descriptions are used when all flats in a block are the same/similar. It's possible they have made a mistake and meant to put next door on, I would just ring them and make sure they take it off. I would also check they don't hold a set of keys!0

Definitely my flat. Inside and out. Easy to tell.

I would suggest you phone them asap, rather than just email, if there is a chance they have a set of keys...0

Maybe they have mixed up the pictures of your flat from when it was being marketed and another that is now "to let" in the same block?

Property descriptions on Rightmove sometimes include a disclaimer like:PLEASE NOTE - the photographs are "library" pictures taken in a similar flat in the block.
If you ask the EA, I suspect they will say that they are letting another flat, but forgot to include the disclaimer.0 -
They're using your flat to make it look like they have more properties on their books than they really do.
If you haven't changed the barrel on at least one of the locks to your front door you should do that asap. Anyone moving into a new property should do this as a matter of course. A new barrel (not complete lock) can be bought at any reasonable hardware store for about a fiver or so if it's a Yale-type. Five minutes with a screwdriver and Robert est ton oncle.0
