Catchup services on Youview.

Can someone answer me a possibly daft question? I have a Youview box with BT but I'm coming to the end of my contract with them. I've made little use of the TV bundle I had so was going to drop it and just stick with phone & broadband (possibly with a different provider). Will I still be able to use the catchup services on the Youview box without any kind of digital tv subscription?

YouView is not a subscription service, you just need a suitable PVR and a broadband connection to use the catch-up features.

The covert marketing of BT and Talk Talk are revealed.
They like you to believe that you have to pay for YouView, which you do not.
To be fair they offer additional services like BT Sport, what ever that is, joke.!

The Youview features are free. The BT features are what you would lose.

As everyone else has helpfully said, you'll keep the catch up TV services and recording/trickplay facilities as they are nothing to do with BT.

Oh, and they'll ask you for the box back too via a returns bag. But the box is now your property, so just tell them to do one.
