Morning all,
I'm sat here in my fleece dressing gown waiting for the heating to come on. I never did ask hubby to change the timing settings on the heating and i'm regretting it now. I was up bright and early this morning despite having just a few hours sleep. I was cold, then I was hot, then when I went to sleep I had dreams that woke me up.
Not started any jobs in the house. Well to be honest, with the men away theres not a lot that needs doing. Mainly vacuuming because of the dog hairs but not much else.
Ive got Grandbaby at 5 whilst his Mum goes to the gym. 5 is a bit of an awkward time for him as he's winding down for bed and is a bit of a grump. If I remember correctly, his Mum was much the same. Its amazing how much he changes from one day to the next. He has always looked like a clone of his Daddy but last time I saw him I could see his Mummy so clearly.
Not sure what i'm doing for tea.... I haven't thought that far ahead yet.

Morning all,
JackieO my favourite day has always been Thursday. I think its because it's almost Friday lol. When I was little my dad was a long distance HGV Driver and was away Monday to Friday. I used to get excited knowing he would be home the following day.
BB glad your feeling better x
My tooth feels slightly better today thank goodness.
Out and about early. We dropped DGS and DD at school and work and then hubby has a couple of visits. He's hoping to finish at lunch today as we are over to Yorkshire to visit mum and dad. She is making Cottage pie gluten free so I'm looking forward to that.
We have a a bit of a rest now. DGS now back until Friday and dd away until Thursday.
Our youngest is very little trouble and more often than not out and about with friends or gf.
Not much else to report. Other than getting more and more anxious the nearer I get to Monday:(
Have a great day all xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Hi everyone,
BB sorry you have been suffering, I hope you get better soon.
I've got very painful hips today, along with a few other joints. I think it's a flare up of what I call my mystery ailment - none of the doctors I've seen have been able to find out what is wrong. I don't bother going any more unless the pain gets very bad.
More sewing due today, I need to finish the japanese doll I am making for G-neice and then the Christmas tree skirt.0 -
Morning all!
I slept until 10 o'clock, sheesh, you would think I was tired!!!
We had snow last nigh, thankfully not too much and it didn't lie, but the car is still looking a bit frozen. First load of washing is on, and I need to jump in the shower then go to visit MIL, its her birthday today. Hopefully she will like the wee gift I brought her from Harrods.
Dinner shall be something comforting and hot, but no idea what yet.
Have a good day all!RIP Iain

Morning All,
Hugs to all that need them.
Very cold here with occasional sleet showers.
Judi - It's amazing how much babies change week on week; enjoy every minute because it goes by so quickly.
Snoozer - ask your Dr to test you for Fibromyalgia (my OH suffers terribly with it) and your symtoms sound familiar to hers.
Got a letter from Pensions Branch yesterday confirming what I will receive - hopefully it will not take long to reach my bank.
Have a good day everyone :beer:0 -
Hi all
I wasn't sure I'd get onto MSE today; Mr LW is using up one of his remaining annual leave days; we're off to the opera tonight, and need to leave here at 17:45, and of course he doesn't get in from work til nearly 19:00, so he decided to take the day off.
Man from the double glazing company has been and replaced the handles and letterbox on the front door, under guarantee so no charge.:money: And we've been and collected our respective meds, I also stocked up on a couple of hair colours - they had them at 2 for £9, normal price £5.69; as I used the last one I had in stock a on Sunday evening, after Bonnie left, it seemed sensible to get them while they're on offer.:money:They won't eat anything on the top of the bathroom cupboard, after all.:D
JackieO I don't have a favourite day of the week; I have a hard enough time keeping track of what day it is (I usually have to ask Mr LW) without working out if I like the day or not.:rotfl:
Next canine booking isn't til 29th November, just for 2 nights, so I have to exercise a bit of patience til then. It's a newcomer to me; her usual host is already booked - she's a spaniel, but I don't know what variety, named Amber. I'm assuming the name is a reflection of her colour.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon all
bb I hope that the blackdog has been kicked into touch and that you feel better soon x
Welcome Jacksmummy
It has been a lovely sunny day here with a nip in the air.
I have spent the day catching up on some washing and housework.
Our multifuel stove goes in tomorrowand I can't wait, we have already bought 50kg coal and 25kg of logs, will get some more at the weekend, unfortunately our little car can't take too much weight so we just get 25 kgs at a time from our local farm shop which is the cheapest place around for coal and they have lovely eggs, pork, gammon, bacon, sausages, fruit and veg.
I got a Beef casserole and dumplings out of the freezer this morning and we will have that tonight with Brussels and roast potatoes................lovely jubbly. I am down to my last two so I will get some stewing/braising steak next week (payday) and make another four and put them in the freezer. It saves on the electricity because I cook my casseroles slowly for about 3 to 4 hours. And it is just a 30 minutes reheat while the roast potatoes are cooking and the meal is ready.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
