Mortgage advice needed

  • Thanks for that, time is of the essence now as if this goes on for much longer I am sure the house I want will be put back on the market, can't blame them for that. Am currently searching online for local brokers but there are quiet a few and am confused as to who to go with if I need to. Don't want to make same mistake. Also, many of my OHs work colleagues have all secured mortgages recently so hopefully no problem here. My head is in a spin.

Did they have missed secured payments? Did they have the same deposit as you?

Just because somebody else got a mortgage doesn't automatically mean somebody else will.

My suggestion is to always avoid estate agent based brokers and to only pay any mortgage broker fees on offer or completion - that way they only get paid if you get the mortgage.

  • GMS just meant that OHs colleagues are all contract workers on same contract so was just comparing work contract nothing else. I do realise all our personal circumstances financially are different.

    ACG thank you.
