Mortgage advice needed

Thanks for that, time is of the essence now as if this goes on for much longer I am sure the house I want will be put back on the market, can't blame them for that. Am currently searching online for local brokers but there are quiet a few and am confused as to who to go with if I need to. Don't want to make same mistake. Also, many of my OHs work colleagues have all secured mortgages recently so hopefully no problem here. My head is in a spin.

Did they have missed secured payments? Did they have the same deposit as you?

Just because somebody else got a mortgage doesn't automatically mean somebody else will.

My suggestion is to always avoid estate agent based brokers and to only pay any mortgage broker fees on offer or completion - that way they only get paid if you get the mortgage.

GMS just meant that OHs colleagues are all contract workers on same contract so was just comparing work contract nothing else. I do realise all our personal circumstances financially are different.
