Mortgage advice needed

My thoughts exactly, this is definitely a learning curve for me but I am researching all I can, perhaps I should consider another broker. Was told today that I couldn't expect mortgage company to just look at my intended mortgage as they also have everybody else's. I appreciate all this but want to be honest to the people whose house I want to buy and I feel I may loose the house. Thanks ACG for your input.0

Go in there and say you want to make an official complaint, take in the IDD document and say i believe its this number i need to call im just wondering what information i will need to provide them - if that doesnt make them sit up and take notice then i would just call the number on the IDD.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. A document which should look something like this:
http://fshandbook.info/FS/docs/cobs/cobs6_annex2_20121231.pdf
You have to have had this document, its a requirement (not up for discussion). It might not look identical but it will look similar.
Section 7 is where it mentions what to do in the event of a complaint.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Ok thanks will check this out.
Surely there is a mortgage for us, my partner clears 7000 a month for 9 months of the year, he has one bank loan from a couple of years ago costing £47 a month, no other debts. One late marker in last year and 2 British gas, oversight now all on direct debit. 2 02 contracts totally up to date and always paid on time. We don't mind if we have to pay higher interest rate either.0 -
This can be placed if there is just the one late mortgage payment (subject to everything else checking out)
Does not sound like this broker knows what to do with your case.
Get someone else on to it today.I am a Mortgage Broker

Your broker is a clown and therefore is now guessing at lenders. Skipton are approachable, although there are many variables they may not like and you are reliant on someone who clearly is not motivated or experienced.
Word of caution on OH employment also, may want to bottom out with broker what he does, how paid, structure of company etc. as to be away that long may cause some lenders concern; subject to what he does of course...
All the bestI am a Mortgage Broker

Just checked key facts document as ACG mentioned and there is nothing in there that mentions anything about issuing a complaint!
Amnblog. Thank you.
Dave ham. Broker has been issued with everything regarding OHs employment, including contract, pay slips and his p60. We have been honest and upfront and provided everything.0 -
The "About Our Services" sheet (IDD) should have complaints process listed in section 7.
In a "About This Mortgage" leaflet (key facts illustration) you get only contact details at the end.
Which are you reading from? They look similar and are in a prescribed format.I am a mortgage broker. After searching through all Of my paperwork, the only documents I have from mortgage broker is "a key facts- about this mortgage"
there is not a mention throughout regarding a complaints procedure!
I feel I am banging my head against a wall, waiting for a phone call everyday, to then get to the end of day with no update!! I am beginning to feel there is no hope for us and not a mortgage anywhere!0
