I wonder why UKCPS felt the need for the C/O Motability finance on the address.

For the further avoidance of doubt ... :)

    Another C-m stunner. :T

@Schoolrun, C-m is the business in all things private parking, but even more so in relation to the Equality Act 2010. This is the finest advice for your particular circumstances that you will get anywhere on any parking forum.
    +1

C-M - The final sentence is a Brahma. One of your best yet! :D
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

A phone call to one of these contacts might also help.

If you are close I'd drop a copy into the management office (used to be next to house of Fraser and probably still is)

Or just post it to the address on that link.

I'd definitely be copying them in.

Hi, I know I will probably be replying to my own threads as I am a bit of a technophobe, but I sent a copy of the letter and I just got the reply.... They are sorry if they I caused undue stress and the fine has now been cancelled. Can't thank you all enough for your help!:j The letter was the one posted by coupon mad x

    Well done OP.

You know what, I've just re-read CM's letter and it really is the very best of the great letters she writes - superb.

No wonder UKCPS dropped this like a hot potato, because they were guaranteed to be getting their hands burnt.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I agree not only are the well written and well presented they are hard to argue against, and probably well over the head of the average PPC employee/owner.

I totally agree also - having just come back to this thread today and read coupons letter for the first time - brilliant!

In fact I believe that this letter or a version of it (obviously removing the personal individual circumstances of this OP) should be included in coupon's Newbie post where the PCN involves disability discrimination.

Wherever a PPC issues a PCN breaching their responsibilities under the Equality Act, a letter like this could be sent - might actually make them sit up and take note of what their failings are!

    :)
