Hi all
New on the site and I've just seen that there is an error on T-Mobile's website which means you can get a free sim with
250 minutes - Any network, any time
500 texts - Any network, any time
500MB
WiFi access on the London Underground at no extra cost
all for the cost of £0 per month!!!
I've just done it and the order confirmation has just come through, so thought I'd share!
check the t mobile website and go to sim only plans, you'll see the £0.00 sim only plan first in the list.

Well, it says:SIM Only £8 - 12M
...
Monthly cost
£0.000 -
I've had my confirmation email through and it's confirmed as £0.00 per month. A lot of other people have done the same, there's another thread on this.
It definitely is £0.00 for 12 months0 -
Have just spoken to their sales team and they are honouring it for the full 12 months, totally free0

yup, been confirmed multiple times by email and also by t-mobile staff on live chat it'll be honoured for the FULL 12 months for zero pencegettingoutofdebt7 wrote: »Just spoken to their web chat team
i just spoke to the t-mobile web chat and that's what they told me.
Maddox: We have been informed that this is a pricing error, but that we will be honouring any orders placed until the issue has been corrected If you place an order for this product you will receive our standard order confirmation email, along with a separate email confirming that your order has been received and that we will be honouring the pricing
chris: so i dont pay anything for 12 months?
Maddox: Chris it will be free for first month only
chris: so after the first month it's £8 a month for 12 months?
Maddox: Yes that's right
when you cut and pasted that from the thread on hot uk deals, you forgot to mention the fact that the advisor confirmed it will be honoured for the full 12 months
Here's another person ...Steven: We have been informed that this is a pricing error, but that we will be honouring any orders placed until the issue has been corrected
And another one ..
and here's "Maddox" confirming it will be honoured at £0.00 for 12 months ..Dave: Monthly cost £0.00 a month for 12 months
Dave: Is it free for 12 months and does the contract then end ?
Maddox: You will be honored for 12 months
so who are you going to believe ?0 -
Maybe the price is to reflect EE's lack of coverage since they decommissioned thousands of previously working transmitters!0

You'll get a different story from everyone at T-MUK. only when you get your bill you'll know who to believe.0 -
No sweat. As always print the offer off at the point of sale and then they can't charge. It clearly states -£8.00 AND goes on to state the monthly cost is "FREE". They won't be getting any money out of me.
Pity it's now gone.0 -

pretty much everyone has had the same confirmation email stating that it will be honoured in full for 12 months. even if it isn't, they'll be getting a lot of cancellation requests ..
it's also covered under the distance selling regulations as well ..0 -
well I had the same emails confirming..
THEN today had an email saying that they couldn't take the £2 refundable deposit and asked to call which I did.
There was no issues with my card, went through first time.. HOWEVER immediately the adviser stated that they couldn't give me the deal as my credit score was low!! What a fob off... it sounded like it was a rehearsed line to put people off..
Are they correct? surely the credit check OR what ever it was, was done at the checkout? Is this a cop out by T-mobile? can I do anything about it? are they right? OR just a way to fob me off?
Sounded too good to be true!0 -
I had the emails and now I have the sim. I also had to give CC details in order for them to take £2 (to be reimbursed) and set up a DD with my bank account details. The only issue I have had so far is I gave them my old PAYG t-mobile number but the sim came with a new number.0
