Well, happy days - I got the job today. It doesn't start for another 2 weeks however i would rather sign off now to avoid having to send in this info request letter and likely receive a sanction. Can I stop my claim now and how?0

I have today posted off the booket, simply requesting an immediate sign off. Regarding the above letter request for more details regarding why I left my job and to what, I haven't sent it in - although today, (a week since the letter was dated as sent) I recieved a text saying "we have received the info requested and will give a decision in the next week", I assume this relates to the letter request, however I haven't sent anything in. Hopefully it should matter now, and I'll be signed off before being likely sanctioned0

I'd just advise that technically they may be able to recover any overpayments. So if it is decided you had no good or reasonable cause for leaving your job they may ask for the money back. For this reason it might be better to appeal any adverse decision. Obviously the potential sanction is not relevant to you - at the moment. Just be aware that it may be applied at a later date - you may have to claim JSA again in the future so an appeal will also be good to maybe prevent this.0 -
Can they even accept the form, and subsequently amend my 'claim' now that I have successfully signed off?0

No they won't be able to say it's an over payment in this situation.
