Newest post detailsNot sure what you mean by 'newest post details' *confused*
I think it might mean the info in the column called "Newest Post" when you're viewing the forum home page or one of the boards.
I agree it's not very clear. I think this is really useful, but I nearly didn't vote for it as it took me so long to work out what it was! I expect more people use this than have indicated they do.0 -

I realise that it has something to do with that column but still not clear what is meant by the pollI think it might mean the info in the column called "Newest Post" when you're viewing the forum home page or one of the boards.

If it means to click on the link leading to the last post in the thread then I do that all the time but if it means to click on the link in the column header then that is a different matter and only to be clicked on if you want to change the way the column is sorted. (I think)0 -
Quick Links - other optionsthe most useful feature is the quick links although the only part i normally click and go is to edit signature and open contacts pop up
i don't think i've noticed or used the rest of them if i'm honest
i sometimes click on forum search as well btw0 -

They definitely need to clarify.
I had assumed it just meant having the column there to see at all, or at least the details given in the column. I like to be able to see specifically what time a thread was last posted in (if I'm looking at a specific board), or if I'm on the main page, sometimes a title will catch my eye and I'll use the link in that column to access it. I wouldn't be happy if they removed the column, but it's not essential, so I thought the question was about whether any one looked at the details in the column (I do!).0 -
Quick Links - other optionsi think the problem is with the word "forum jump", a forum index would probably be a more functional term because you know that is where you would find the board you're looking for0

Forum jump boxI've been using the Forum Jump since I joined MSE. It's a very useful tool but it's a bit higgledy-piggledy and could do with a tidy up.0
